Dr. Ngan comes from a background of dental providers and is a Board Certified Orthodontist. In fact, her parents first established their general dentistry practice over 40 years ago, providing for patients throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. Following her parents’ footsteps, Dr. Ngan completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. After graduating, she continued her dental education and specialized in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. She is an active member of various professional organizations, including the American Dental Association®, the California Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists® and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics. Having grown up in Valencia, Dr. Ngan has deep ties to the community. “Growing up in this town has shaped my values and importance of family and friendships. My goal is to give back to my community and instill those same values through quality patient care.”
Before graduating from UCLA and UW in 2006 and 2009, Dr. Tam attended the University of the Pacific for her undergraduate degree. Since finishing her degrees, Dr. Tam has been practicing in Newhall for nearly 15 years. In that time, she has continued her education, receiving training in endodontics from UW and even being recognized as a California Dental Board subject matter expert. Today she is a Board Certified endodontist. Her number one goal is to prevent patient discomfort during their visit. She loves spending time with her three siblings and taking care of her wonderful daughters. In her free time, Dr. Tam enjoys eating delicious food, yoga, swimming, camping in her van and playing the piano — a skill she has kept up with her whole life!
